As a long-time customer, my experience has been disappointing on many visits. When talking to customer service all I got was “we’ll let them know about your experience”. It didn’t do much to solve our problems.
I was at Home Depot in Mississauga in Mawissa and I love it when an employee helps out. I watched this man help this grandma so much, I think he was constantly walking around to show her the different products he needed, but the store was too big for him to walk around. I asked her name and told her what a great person she was and she smiled from ear to ear and said I’m just thinking about my mom and she wanted to give me more time. I filled out the survey from the recipient and noted his name in hopes that they would let him know what a great job he is doing.
This is our annual go to garden center! An amazing variety of flowers and colors! They have a variety of vegetables and garnishes. I noticed that some items were a bit more expensive compared to previous seasons. (Now isn’t everything. *sigh* lol)
This site is huge with millions of items for home and garden. Lighting, Bathrooms, Floors, Doors, Power Tools, Appliances- Everything! I was so lost there – but all the staff I asked to help me were super kind and generously guided me.

Of course I will visit them again and again. Besides, do you think it’s too much to pay by buying expensive tools to work once a year? No problem, just rent the tool you need for 4 hours or 24 hours and win it all.
This is one of my go-to places for all my spring gardening needs…supplies, tools, flowers and seeds. They are versatile and reasonably priced.
I love shopping at Home Depot! For most gardening supplies, I can always find really nice flowers at home depot. They have so many options to choose from, great paint and lighting for your home.
I really enjoy shopping at Home Depot. They have many varieties for your gardening needs. I usually start planning my garden right after Easter. I start with greens, then rosewoods and vines like clementes. And then the rest after Mother’s Day. Home Depot has everything you need to get the job done, including accessories and garden soil. I love shopping at a site offered by Home Depot Garden Center. The staff are very helpful and polite. A great place to shop.

I love Home Depot Garden Center. You can always find me #1 as soon as the last frost is over and spring has sprung! I love buying their variety of trees and heading out. They have all grown so much in the past few years. I buy and deliver bags by bag freight. I usually get a red or brown towel. Their flowers are great and I will try to get 18 packs. If you’re not sure what to buy to get your yard in tip-top shape, don’t worry—you don’t have to run all over town looking for what you need. A station at your local Home Depot garden center will get you everything from lawnmowers and mulch to plants and soil. Plus, you can always ask a sales associate for help if you need it.
The type of work you do in your garden and flower beds depends on what year it is. Heading into fall and winter, you’ll want to keep some mud on hand. Mulch protects your plants from frost damage and helps control weeds while reducing pests. You have several options, such as wood chips or straw. Another way to save money is to recycle grass or leaf clippings.
In the spring, you’ll want to tidy up by picking up broken branches from winter storms. Your soil may still need revitalization after winter. Select weeds and mix in some compost, but give the soil time to equilibrate. Soil pH can affect your plants for better or worse, so it can’t hurt to pick up some pH strips while you’re at the hardware store. (Hint: The pH strip is usually located near the plant food and seed starter.)
Take care of your garden tools. If you are shopping for them for the first time, choose quality tools that are easy to use. Digging your plants is easier when you use a shovel with the right handle for your height.
How To Find Everything You Need Inside The Home Depot
With some smart prep work, you’ll be ready to brighten up your garden by growing flowers or plants until they’re ready for a bountiful harvest.
Here’s the fun part – decide what kind of garden to plant! Whether you want to tend a blooming flower garden or a thriving vegetable patch, you’ll see your garden grow and take shape with a little effort and care.
No matter which garden plant you choose, you must consider the soil conditions in which they grow best and how much light they need. You’ll also want to consider how much they need to grow. For example, a hydrogen fence is only a few feet tall and a few feet wide, so you need to make sure you have enough space when planning your layout.
If you’re doing a little DIY landscaping, you may realize after planting something that you want to move or place in another part of your garden. Make the process easier with this genius garden hack:
The Briar Patch
Go to your home depot and pick up a few pots of the same size and bury them in the ground. If you plant your plants in double pots, you can easily remove one and replace it with the other. This technique is even more useful if you find a plant that does better in a shady spot in your yard or one that needs full sun.
When you have your heart set on a fruit or vegetable garden, consider raised garden beds. Raised beds make it easier to have a healthy garden and can even extend your growing season. Plants in raised beds also help the soil to drain well.
Instead of planting seeds outdoors, you may want to consider starting them indoors. Depending on the time of year and what you’re planting, you can enjoy additional crops in the spring and summer or protect your lawn from the cold of winter. Once your plants are strong, you can transplant the organic garden outside.
You can get a helping hand from rooting back to roots, such as lavender, sunflowers, tomatoes, mushrooms and sprouts! Watch your herbs and vegetables thrive in your kitchen all year round, or start early and transplant outside when the time is right.
