If the original blue on the fence was a 2020 housing trend, it has certainly cemented its place on this year’s list after Pantone announced its Color of the Year 2020: ‘Ancient Blue’ dictionary’. Described by Pantone as “a timeless and timeless blue,” Classic Blue has been set for stamping in 2020. It’s been 10 years since we’ve seen blue for Color of the Year. by Pantone (unless you factor in 2016’s mix of Rose Quartz pink and Serene light blue!) and so we’re excited to see Classic Blue make its mark in interior design this year. . We are anticipating blue with different shades to work its way across all aspects of interior design, from wall paint to upholstery.
Like the black and white trend above, if you want to paint your interior walls blue, seek out a selection of blue shades from Farrow & Ball. However, if you are not going to redecorate, you can incorporate the blue trend by adding blue-toned furniture pieces to the room.
