Home Depot Kitchen Laminate Flooring – One of the most frequent questions I get asked on Instagram is about our wooden table from Home Depot. Where did we find it? How is it held? Do I like it? I tried to answer these questions as often as I could in the stories, but I thought it might be helpful to put all that information in one place so that someone can refer to this when coming. So here’s a full review of our wooden table from Home Depot!
I quickly realized that we wanted to change the floor for something that was more our style and more durable. I wanted light oak, hardwood flooring, so I began the arduous task of visiting every flooring store in a 45 mile radius. I have many samples, but none fit the bill for my liking. Then, on a whim, I decided to check out the flooring at Home Depot. Much to my surprise, they got what I wanted: light oak, solid wood, distressed texture, with a matte finish. It is called Malibu Wide Plank French Oak Point Reyes Solid Hardwood Floor.

After removing the carpet and laminate flooring, we hired a contractor to install wood floors from Home Depot. We ordered it all online and it took about 2 weeks for delivery. But even though this floor is already finished, there is no sanding or sanding. So the installation process only takes about 3 days and then we can move in immediately.

We have lived with this floor for six months now and I can honestly say I LOVE it. I’m so happy with it and so glad we decided to install it right away, before we moved in. Now, there is no problem with cutting. No teeth. Nothing. And that’s saying a lot because I’m moving furniture around all the time. We have three children. But this thing takes longer. Finished with seven layers of ultra-low-gloss urethane finish with aluminum oxide, these floors are made to LAST.
When we remove the old floors, we need to decide if we want to remove the baseboards. It is common when installing a new floor, but it will cost us a lot of money and time. So we installed this floor
Tables in place. The floor goes up to the floor, then we use a quarter round to finish and cover the gaps. It’s a great trick to save money and time on installing new baseboards!

I use my cordless vacuum for dirt and debris. Then we cleaned the floor with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner and this hardwood floor mop.

No way. I’ve dropped some pretty heavy stuff on the floor and there was no damage. I’m really surprised how long this floor lasts!
