I had to pay the whole month’s rent even though I was not given the keys to the house until the end of the month. I spoke to the general manager of the apartment company and asked for a refund. He told me no, repeating the technique in the contract. This is bad business practice. I have to take this loss. However, I would not recommend this building to anyone.

My daughter lived here for over two years. In addition to her car being damaged on two separate occasions we were billed over $500 to get out for a “burn” in the carpet in her bedroom. These “burn marks” were apparently from her cat. He paid the cat for his cat and when asked why this was not included we did not get an answer. See where you live. This property also has a revolving door for the Manager.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have lived here since August 2020 and it is a nightmare. You think you’ll only hang out with people your own age or even in college…wrong! They tried to put a 30-year-old woman and a child with criminal charges in my head considering that I am 18 years old. I moved for a day and moved to a unit that was not clean and seemed full. I called several times and asked them to clean my toilet because it was really dirty and they said they would come and change it when it was time for me to move out and it still didn’t happen. They said they came and cleaned it but it’s still disgusting and I have to wear shoes all the time because of it. The furniture is as old as my parents and is yellow. The laundromat doesn’t even clean my clothes actually leaving them and putting marks on them and yes I called and told them the problem but they said they “fixed it”. One of my roommates accidentally pushed a glass into the garbage disposal and even though it was him who did it my other roommates and I have to pay for it. Regarding the electricity bill we pay way every month and when we asked to see the bill we were told that we are not allowed to see it. There is mold all over the store and they were notified and they said they came to fix it but there is still mold everywhere. Maintenance came into my room I was sleeping and I said they knocked but I didn’t wake up (I’m a light sleeper and I would have woken up with a knock) WiFi is super spotty and doesn’t work very well and when you tell the office it’s not working they say they can’t guarantee it will work so more than half the time I can’t attend my zoom meetings because the internet it was too late. If you like having guests over the top I definitely wouldn’t be here. My sister comes to visit almost every day. We mostly stay in my room so we don’t have anyone to worry about and my roommates told the office that he was living in my apartment which is obviously not true but they violated my rent on my roommate’s charges. They also told me that my sister can’t have pets on the property. I had to file a police report while I was here because I had a man who kept coming to my window because I live on the first floor and the police told me that they have a lot of problems with the sq and it’s not a safe place.
They have a great event! The staff are always very pleasant to be around. Plus, I can walk to campus.
I would stay here again and again. I love the people, the front office, the location, and the price. My house is also very big. Large 4br.

Student Quarter is a great place for college students to live. The ferry takes students to and from campus frequently, but is also close enough to walk to campus. However, if you think that the office will call you to inform you of the mover, you are wrong. I called 911 last night and came home at 11:00 pm to find my door open and strange people in my house. The office failed to inform me that I was going to see my roommate that evening. This actually happened, not once, but 4 times! The office failed to report the move. When I first moved, I said I didn’t want pets because of allergies. They gave me a roommate who wanted animals, and allowed him and others to harass me until I had no choice but to move to another house, at my expense. I really wish I hadn’t signed the annual lease. My advice, sign up for 6 months. It may be expensive month to month, but cheaper in the long run. I hope the new management will be good, but it’s too late for me.
